• Choose a film, a cinema and a time.
• Send the invitation by Messages, WhatsApp or email.
• Add it straight to your calendar, with a reminder one hour before. If the time changes, the event follows.
• Your next outing stays visible just above the tab bar.

Go out with confidence

The Safety Center gives the official French numbers (112, 17, 15, 114, 3919) and opens your phone’s own call or SMS screen. CineBuddy never calls anyone by itself and is not an emergency service.

Where the data comes from

Cinema information comes from the public open data of the CNC and the French Ministry of Culture (Licence Ouverte). Showtimes are not in the app yet: the Showtimes button opens a web search.

CineBuddy 2.0

No account, no advertising, no data collected (App Store privacy label: Data Not Collected).

Your location is used only to sort the cinemas by distance, on your device. You can choose a town instead.

Calendar access is used only to add your outings and to move or remove CineBuddy’s own events when an outing changes. CineBuddy never reads, keeps or sends any other event. If you decline, the outing can still be added with Apple’s own event sheet, which needs no permission.

Nothing leaves your device.
